Changed your mind?
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days, starting the day after you receive it. If your order arrives in more than one delivery, the 14 days start the day after the last item arrives. You do not have to give a reason.
This right is for consumers. If you bought for a business, contact us and we will see what we can do.
How to cancel and return
- Tell us within the 14 days. Email [email protected] with your order number and the items you are returning. You can use the form at the bottom of this page, but you do not have to.
- Wait for our reply. We send the returns address and instructions, or arrange a collection for large items. Please do not send anything back before you hear from us — an unannounced parcel is hard to match to your order, which slows your refund.
- Send it back within 14 days of telling us. Pack it securely, in its original packaging if you still have it, and keep your proof of postage.
The condition of returned items
You can handle an item as you would in a shop to decide whether you want it. If it has been handled more than that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value. For example:
- a machine that has been fuelled, charged and used, or has cut grass;
- furniture or a structure that has been fully assembled or fixed in place;
- an item returned with parts, accessories or manuals missing.
Return costs
Unless an item is faulty or not what you ordered, you pay the cost of sending it back. Large or heavy items cannot usually go by post; we can arrange a collection, and we tell you the cost before it is booked.
Your refund
We refund the price of the item and the original standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving it back, or of you showing us you have sent it, whichever is sooner. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund the standard delivery cost. The refund goes back to the payment method you used, and there is no fee.
Items you cannot cancel
The 14-day right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised — for example cut to size or built to order. The product page says when an item is made to order. Your rights if such an item is faulty are unaffected.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
This is separate from changing your mind, and it is on us. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty item for a full refund.
- Within six months we repair or replace it. If that is not possible or does not fix it, you get a refund. A fault that appears in this period is presumed to have been there from the start.
- After six months you can still claim for up to six years (five in Scotland).
Email [email protected] with your order number, what is wrong, and photographs or a short video if you can. We pay for returning or collecting faulty and incorrect items. Many machines also carry a manufacturer warranty — see warranties.
